About ME

Shea Lloyd, LMT, PTA

I have been drawn to therapeutic touch for as long as I can remember. At a very young age I recall recognizing the benefits of safe, healing touch, and I knew it would always be a part of my life.
I completed my initial massage therapy education in 2000 in Greenville, South Carolina, then continued to build on that education as a new transplant to Portland in 2002, attending Oregon School of Massage for a semester, then returning as a teacher’s assistant in kinesiology for a semester. Afterwards, life sent me on many paths, but bodywork and healing modalities have always been present in some form.
I recently continued to build upon my clinical knowledge in physical therapy and rehabilitation, attending the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Mt Hood Community College and receiving my licensure in 2020.

I have spent the last 2 decades pursuing career paths that have involved creating safe, judgement free, nurturing spaces for people in the LGBTQIA2s community, striving to create a body positive environment and a grounding presence to encourage self-love and healing.
During my time as a Home Health PTA, I’ve had the unique opportunity to understand how valuable it is to have therapy/bodywork come to you, especially for folks who have difficulty leaving their homes for physical or psychological reasons. I have chosen to offer out call massage as a way for clients to feel safe in the comfort of their own homes. To avoid the need to commute after a massage allows the client to hold on to that deep grounding relaxation, and to enter back into “reality“ at their own leisure.
I look forward to working with you!
